Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk chilled for best results
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreos about 8-10 cookies, crushed into small pieces
  • 1 cup ice cubes preferably or more for a thicker slushie
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar optional, adds sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Add the chilled milk, crushed Oreos, ice cubes, and sugar (if using) into your blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 30-40 seconds until the mixture is thick, smooth, and the Oreos are well incorporated with some crunchy bits remaining.
  3. Stop the blender and check for consistency; if the slushie is too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly to loosen it slightly.
  4. Pour the thick, icy mixture into glasses, allowing some of the crunchy Oreo bits to show at the top.
  5. Optionally, add a dollop of whipped cream or extra Oreo crumbs on top for garnish.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy the cold, creamy, and crunchy texture.

Notes

For a thicker slushie, add more ice; for a creamier texture, use full-fat milk. Crushing some Oreos extra finely can improve blendability, and serve immediately for the best icy experience.
